Introduction

What is Excel
Excel are the SpreadSheets that are used to arrange the data
Where is Excel Used?
Excel is so powerful that it can be used as a database
It can be used for maintaining account(You don't need a calculator if you are using a excel sheet)
and other similar uses

Excel is a product if Microsoft and not free but excel is widely used for basic calculation

So enough if talking now we will directly go to see how excel work

This how a excel sheet looks when you open a excel sheet.Dont' wait open now.

Basic elements 

  1. Rows
  2. Columns
  3. Cell


Rows:
Rows are arranged in vertical order and named in numerical manner from 1 as shown below.You can click on a cell and keep pressing down arrow to see maximum number of rows.Move to your excel sheet and check it


Columns:
Columns are arranged Horizontally and are named from A.after Z the columns are named with Double letters AA,AB,AC and So on.You can keep your cursor on a cell and keep pressing right arrow to see the columns.Move to your excel sheet and check it .


Cells:
Cells are the intersection of rows and columns.They are denoted as CR
C-->Column Name
R-->Row Name


For Example:
A1 is the intersection of column A and Row 1
A2 is the intersection of column A and Row 2
B1 is the intersection of column B and Row 1
B2 is the intersection of column B and Row 2
N8 is the intersection of ??????? you can guess it its very simple
Yes it is Column N and row 8

You should have a doubt now how do i know in which cell i am going to work?? If you don't have the doubt no problem now have it





On the top right of the excel sheet (here B6) You can see the cell name easy!!!!!!
